Samburu-Lodge-Safari

Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and attracts animals because of the Ewaso Ng’iro river that runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation.

Samburu National Reserve has luxurious lodges which are fully furnished to offer a wide choice of accommodation with a mixture of decor styles spread up and down the banks of the river in cottages, bandas and single or twin rooms.

Day 1: NAIROBI – SAMBURU

Head north to the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier of the Kenya’s Contrast Wildlife. After lunch, an afternoon game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country(Found only in the North). Dinner and the night will be spent along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River at one of the luxurious Samburu lodges.

Day 2: SAMBURU

Further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you. Early morning and afternoon game drives give a chance to explore some of the world’s most spectacular and exciting terrain. Overnight and meals at the lodge.

Day 3: SAMBURU – NAIROBI

Depart for Nairobi after breakfast.
