Samburu National Reserve is most popular for the Ewaso Ngiro River, which slices through the otherwise bone-dry country. The river acts as a magnet for thirsty animals, and large numbers of elephants, Grevy’s zebras, giraffes and lions gather along the riverbanks.

Renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species, Lake Nakuru flocks with flamingoes and many other water birds. It is an excellent park for wildlife spotting and is home to many water-loving animals such as hippos and waterbucks.

Masai Mara National Reserve is a popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. Most animals are found in this vast park such as the lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.

Day 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA

08:30 a.m. Depart from Nairobi hotel and drive to the Masai Mara. Drive through the agriculturally rich central highlands of Kenya with stopover at the escarpment to view the magnificent East African Great Rift Valley. Descend to the floor of the escarpment to continue on to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in search for animals till sunset back to the camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: MASAI MARA

Full day at Masai Mara exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras dominates the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer than any other park in the region. An optional local Masai Village visit can be arranged. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

Pre-morning game drive up to around 9:30 a.m. Afterwards depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon boat ride to the crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel.

Day 4: LAKE NAIVASHA – LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National park which hosts the largest concentration of Flamingoes which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift Valley Lake. The park also hosts Lions, Leopard, Giraffe, and Warthog etc. There is a Rhino sanctuary and thus Rhino sightings are very high. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI

After breakfast depart for Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch arriving in the evening if time permits evening game drive. Some of the species of Amboseli includes Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Giraffe among many other plain game animals. Amboseli lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight Camp.

Day 6: AMBOSELI

After breakfast, proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the campsite for breakfast. After breakfast, a further game drive where plains game including Zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen. Hve lunch and leisure break at the camp then end with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen in clear weather from the observation hill. Large herds of elephant and hippo can be seen bathing swamp grounds whose water source is Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 7: AMBOSELI – NAIROBI

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After a late breakfast, depart Amboseli for Nairobi with lunch enroute, arriving in the evening. Drop off at your hotel.
